For the estimated 34,000 people living on the Lower Shore without health insurance, finding medical care can be a daunting task. That's where we come in. Our caring professionals see adult patients five days a week, and nearly 80 percent of them have no health insurance at all. Many of the patients we serve would likely end up in the hospital emergency room which further burdens our health care system. Many would simply ignore their medical needs altogether.

Through partnerships with local hospitals, health departments and private physicians, all of our patients have access to prevention programs, cancer screening, addiction services, sub-specialty referrals and low cost or no cost medications. A volunteer helps our office manager and receptionist organize the office. We rely on volunteers to help in all aspects of our operations and welcome anyone who has time to give.
