in support of the Steps to Success transitional living program.
This spring our families, friends and neighbors have been impacted by the effects of COVID-19
on their daily lives. We are all in this together as we adjust to a new normal in our community and
continue the important work we do at the Village of Hope.
During these uncertain times, Village of Hope was able to continue providing services to the women and children in our Steps to Success program and Empowering Children's Project. Case management continued via telephone, participant program fees were suspended for a month, donated food, household items and cleaning supplies were distributed frequently, and schoolwork was supplemented with activity packets for the children.
However, we now face a difficult and challenging time ahead as we begin a new budget year and anticipate that our fundraising efforts will be impacted over the next several months.
So we want to send along some well-deserved sunshine and ask you to join us in
"Celebrating a Summer Season of Hope & Giving" this July. Together, we can share in the optimism of tomorrow and make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
A gift in any amount will go a long way in helping the Village of Hope begin its
30th year stronger than ever and continue our mission "to promote self-sufficiency and improve the
quality of life among at-risk women and children".
