Help our CEO Go Over the Edge for Village of Hope Families
On May 8, Village of Hope President & CEO, Annette Johnson, in partnership with United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, is stepping out of her comfort zone to raise awareness and critical funds for our Village of Hope families in Over the Edge for ALICE® 2026. It’s more than a thrill. She will overcome her fear of heights and rappel 14 stories down the Ross Building in downtown Salisbury to make a real difference for the women and children of Village of Hope, who are rebuilding their lives after homelessness and financial instability. |

What Is ALICE®?
ALICE® (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) represents 2 in 5 households locally. These are individuals and families who are working but still living paycheck to paycheck. Each month, they are forced to make difficult choices between safe housing, food, childcare, medicine, and other essentials. One unexpected expense can push a family into crisis.
